Been making these for several years now.
This one is my six blade set, I do go up to 11 blades but have found this mixture of blades is the most versatile.
50mm sloyds, wharncliffe style, mini crook, left and right crooks and a kolrosing/decorating knife. The handle shown is elm and mahogany with a leather spacer.
Since making these available for public consumption I’ve had nothing but fantastic feedback which had been very humbling. They certainly were a challenge to develop into a hardworking set as nothing else is out there to help with building the concept. And yes, it does all pack down into the pouch and weighs hardly anything.
I made four of these this time with three already taken as commissions. Hope you all like. All leather work also done by me!
The handle design was a trial and error system to get right. Had to be ergonomic in concept for the use of the different tools involved so developed a simple octagonal palm swell.
