Description
I offer a custom crook service where I will bend a crook knife to your profile and specifications. Like my other crooks, they will be forged from 01 tool steel 10mm in width and 2mm thickness. The blade length and bend profile will be specified by you, preferably through a scaled drawing or electronic document.
I shall try my best to produce a tool that fits your requirements given the limitations of materials and the overall function of the end tool. My experience and wisdom as a tool maker will ensure that you get the best advice needed to create a fully working tool to your expectations.
Depending on what profile style you will want, my fee for document conversion to bend will be between £5-10 on top of the standard crook pricing of £40 for blade only, £60 handled. I also offer a box sheath service on custom bent crooks so you can feel the relief and satisfaction of having a well protected tool.
