Kolrosing 50mm Sloyd Mocotaugan And Compound Crook. 6 819x1024

I love the fluidity of sloyd. Being a tool maker forces us to not just go for ergonomic use but aesthetic too. Facets are a key player in creating texture and form l, but also allow it’s user to index onto the tool quickly and securely.

This photo series also shows the proper layout for mocotaugan handle angles and profiles. It’s so important to make a tool that can be used for hours on end. We’ve all been in the zone and it’s sometimes really hard to put a tool or project down until it’s completed.

What’s your favourite sloyd tool to use? Mine has to be the mocotaugan purely for it’s unique technique and versatility.

This set dons mainly Sherwood Oak and a little Walnut. Kolrosing, 50mm sloyd, mocotaugan and compound crook.
